Lay Lay is Sadie’s virtual hype avatar who has come to life on a wish. Now a real girl, Lay Lay wants to experience everything that comes with being a teenager. With Sadie as her best friend there is nothing that can stop these two from bringing their unique brand of friendship to their everyday adventures. Played by Alaya High.

13-year-old Sadie Alexander is smart, funny, and creative. She wants to make an impact on the world, but has a difficult time making her mark. She rocks natural hair, jeans, and cool t-shirts but has always been one to color inside the lines. Now that Sadie has discovered her magical best friend Lay Lay, she learns how to take chances and become the star of her own life. Played by Gabrielle Nevaeh Green.

Sadie’s classmate and next-door neighbor and as he likes to call himself, her “ride or die.” Jeremy is witty and can only be described as “confidently awkward”. He knows he’s not the coolest guy in school, but he’s comfortable enough in his own skin to be okay with that. Not many people can pull off rolling on heelies to class. And while it’s not 100% certain that Jeremy can either, he’s not going to let a little thing like his high school rep keep him from doing the things he finds fun! Played by Caleb Brown.

Sadie’s entrepreneurial and nosy little brother always has an investment opportunity to pitch. He’s often the key witness to Sadie and Lay Lay’s escapades and they either have to pay for his help or pay for his silence. Played by Peyton R. Perrine III.

Sadie’s mom, a no-nonsense former college athlete who now works from home writing jingles. Her creative approach to life can often be a little left-of-center, but there is no doubt that family comes first. Played by Tiffany Daniels.

Sadie’s fun-loving dad who’s proud of his musical theater roots that led to a career as a professional jingle writer. He’s not afraid to show his softer side because he’s convinced one’s strength comes from admitting to your vulnerabilities. He works from home with his wife as his business and creative partner. Played by Thomas Hobson.
